Introduction Established in 1997, DIGITAL BUSINESS & DESIGN COLLEGE was created to provide quality computer training at an affordable price in visual communications, including multimedia software, graphic design, web page design, desktop publishing, and digital video editing. History of the Training Studio DIGITAL BUSINESS & DESIGN COLLEGE was founded with the belief that students learn best when working on actual real-life projects. To this end, Digital Business & Design was established as a studio which provides web, graphic, layout, photography, and other design services to clients. The studio provides these services at a nominal fee to local non-profit professional and service organizations. Students learn by working on these projects under the direction of an instructor. We call this “studio-based training”. As a result, students create real-life design projects as they learn. Some of the organizations we serve under this program are the El Monte/South El Monte Chamber of Commerce, Miss Friendly El Monte/South El Monte Association, Elks Lodge 1739, the Nuvein Foundation for Literature and the Arts, and Rotary of El Monte/South El Monte, among others. Mission Digital Business & Design College’s mission is to provide students of all ages and walks of life with the skills needed to enjoy our modern technological environment and to provide them with the tools needed to achieve personal growth.
